Redinter, a Redeia company, is responsible for the construction and operation of electricity transmission grids outside Spain, and has been building and managing grids in Latin America for more than 25 years, through various subsidiaries in Peru, Chile and Brazil.

In Latin America, we manage more than 7,600 km of circuit and our goal is to guarantee the security and continuity of the electricity supply at all times, in addition to developing a reliable transmission grid that contributes to the progress of society.

In Peru, since 1999, we have been present in the south and north of the country where, through a group of companies, we are leaders in the construction, operation and maintenance of high-voltage electrical facilities, with excellent facility availability indicators.

In Chile, since 2015, we have been present in the regions of Arica and Parinacota, Tarapacá, Antofagasta and Atacama, where we manage 1,776 kilometres of circuit through our concessions Red Eléctrica del Norte S.A (REDENOR) -with 69.9% of the share capital-, Red Eléctrica del Norte 2 S.A (REDENOR 2) and Transmisora Eléctrica del Norte S.A (TEN) -with a 50% share capital-.

In Brazil, from 2020, we acquired 50% of the ordinary shares of the Brazilian company Argo Energía (Argo Energía Empreendimentos e Participações), dedicated to the management of high-voltage transmission lines in the north-east of the country.
