For more than 15 years, we have been building and managing networks in Latin America, through different subsidiaries in Peru, Chile and Brazil.
Since 1999, we have been the principal transmission company in southern Peru, where, through a group of companies, we are leaders in the construction, operation, and maintenance high-voltage electrical installations. In Peru, we operate through the companies Red Eléctrica del Sur REDESUR and Red Eléctrica Andina (REA), in the regions of Arequipa, Moquegua, Tacna, Puno and Cuzco, with excellent indicators in regard to the availability of the installations.
In Chile, we have the company Red Eléctrica Chile, which will manage several projects and in 2019, we acquired a 50% shareholding of the Brazilian company Argo Energia (Argo Energia Empreendimentos e Participações), a company which operates and manages more than 4,000 circuit kilometres of high-voltage transmission line in the north-east of the country.
