A group of students from the National University of Jaén visited the Cáclic Electrical Substation for an enriching technical experience, complemented by a virtual tour of Redinter’s Control Center.
The purpose of this activity was to share best practices in operation and maintenance and showcase Redinter’s strategic role in Peru’s electricity sector—actively contributing to the training of future professionals and the country’s social development.
The day began with key safety and health instructions to ensure compliance with standards before entering the facilities. Additional recommendations included the importance of water conservation within our facilities as part of the organization’s environmental commitment.
Highlights of the visit included:
- Safety and health induction, including minimum safety distances.
- Environmental induction, both within the concession area and from an organizational perspective.
- Electrical safety induction under NFPA 70E standards.
- Identification of switchyard equipment and explanation of their functions.
Initiatives like this reinforce our commitment to sustainability, education, and capacity building in the energy sector.
